These terms cover authorized use, customer data, data processing expectations, and service limits.

Operator And Agreement

Afterlane is operated by an individual based in California, United States.

By accessing or using Afterlane, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

The Service

Afterlane provides browser-based deploy verification, route checks, screenshots, run history, alerting support, and related reporting tools.

Features may change over time and no feature is guaranteed to be available in every environment or at every point in time.

Accounts And Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Authorized Use Only

You may use Afterlane only for sites, routes, environments, and content that you own or are otherwise authorized to test.

You may not use the service to probe third-party systems without permission, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or upload unlawful content.

Customer Data

You retain ownership of the URLs, screenshots, run data, logs, and other content you submit or cause the service to generate on your behalf.

You grant only the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, store, display, and analyze that data to operate, secure, and improve Afterlane.

Privacy, Vendors, And Data Processing

Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Current subprocessors and service providers are listed at /subprocessors.

Business customers that need a data processing addendum may request one at [email protected].

Fees And Billing

If paid plans or usage-based billing are offered, pricing, renewal timing, cancellation terms, taxes, and any refund policy will be presented before purchase or in a separate order or invoice.

If payment is required and not made when due, access may be limited or suspended.

Availability And Support

Afterlane is offered on an as-available basis and no uptime commitment, service level agreement, or support response time applies unless separately agreed in writing.

The operator may suspend the service for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or business reasons.

Termination And Data Handling

You may stop using the service at any time.

You can export current account data and delete your account from account settings, subject to temporary technical limits or legal obligations.

If the operator terminates your access for abuse, security risk, or non-payment, reasonable efforts may be made to allow data export where appropriate.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.

The total liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have not paid for the service.

Governing Law And Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising from these terms or the service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and both parties consent to that venue.

Changes To These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
